We start the day with a strong cup of tea (or three), a team catch-up, and a rundown of the day’s priorities. There’s always a bit of friendly banter—after all, when you work with family and friends, someone’s bound to bring up last night’s quiz show or who forgot to buy the milk.

Mid-Morning: From Payroll to Pet Stories

By 10am, we’re deep into payroll, VAT returns, and helping clients untangle the mysteries of HMRC. But it’s not all business—our phones are always ringing, and sometimes the most urgent call is a client’s dog barking in the background or a toddler demanding a snack. We get it—life happens, and we’re here for it.

Lunch: Pasties, Plans, and a Bit of Cornwall

Lunch is a sacred ritual. Whether it’s a Cornish pasty or a homemade sandwich, we take time to recharge, share a laugh, and maybe debate whether jam or cream goes first on a scone (for the record, we won’t judge).

Afternoon: Solving Problems, Saving Time

The afternoon is all about solving client problems—whether it’s a missing invoice, a tricky HR issue, or helping a construction client stay on top of compliance. We love the challenge, and nothing beats the feeling of making someone’s day a little easier.

Evening: Wrapping Up (and Maybe a Walk on the Beach)

As the day winds down, we review our call handling stats, check in with clients, and plan for tomorrow. Sometimes, if the Cornish weather allows, we’ll sneak in a stroll on the beach—because balance matters, even in business.
